Below are some selected short poems from my diary “Songs of the Mind”.
29.
O my mind,
The day you have gone past your pains and joys,
There is nothing more to conquer.
30.
Who is it who knows am asleep?
And who is it who knows am dreaming.
Ah – the ever awake!
I offer my humming prayers at his feet.
31.
O my mind,
I know not,
Why does man fear storms?
She comes to uproot their trees,
Only out of sheer love.
32.
O my mind,
The fools think the moon would lit their huts at dusk,
The wise know the moon is as dark as their hearts.
