That Thunderous Roar

Below is a little poem from my diary “Songs of the Mind”.

I am feeling lonesome amongst all the rush,
 And dull and crazy.
 I pity myself,
As the giant within me retreated to a long slumber,
And am not able to awaken it,

They say I reside in him and not the other way it sounds,
All that sounds nice and cozy,
Yet I know not what's the truth like,
But it's been asleep since travels a many,
With the least wants to wake up.
I have been living in such sad hours,
Brushing away my fears and tears,
 Desperation clings to me,
 To awaken the sleeping lion,
 And hear it's thunderous roar.
