Chased by greed, wants and more, we are ever in this endless race of wrapping up tasks, acquiring more, meeting our worldly goals and so on. How does it feel if we could ever give up those wants and desires? What awaits on the other end? The little poem below reflects on some alike feelings.
My greed chases me up the mountains of fire,
Upon that, would you throw some ice?
I want to let go of my desire
And offer them to the holy fire.
I wish I had the chance twice,
To be ever in love and give up hate
Being as cool as ice
Must feel great
Well eventually, the good should suffice.
